Burke-Gilman Now Reopen in Lake Forest Park

Last month's snow delayed work about a week.

The two-mile stretch of the Burke-Gilman Trail in Lake Forest Park that's been going under a $4.9-million major reconstruction since last June reopened at noon Friday.

Snow and ice last month made things difficult for the crews wrapping up work on the trail, delaying the opening by up to two weeks.

A small portion of the trail from Logboom Park in Kenmore to Ballinger Way in Lake Forest Park reopened in December.
