Traffic has been reduced to one lane in each direction on Avondale Road near 180th Avenue Northeast as Redmond Fire crews work to reach a construction worker who fell into a 13-feet-deep trench. Redmond police and fire spokesman Jim Bove said the incident was reported at around 1:15 p.m. He said the construction worker sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. "He was conscious and alert, but did have possible injuries to his head and arm," Bove said. Bove said all lanes are expected to be open within a few minutes.
