A few of our guidelines include: Weekly Meetings (100% attendance is recommended for the best benefits, but 50% attendance is our required!) Professional / Industry exclusivity (only one member per industry/profession) Weekly presentations by our members Weekly professional development discussions Only $100.00 annual fee to offset costs of Meetup, Facebook advertising and other minor incidental costs Wendy and June have been advocates of networking for over twenty years. It's Didgeridoo Day at Soulfood books on April 16th! They are celebrating with a workshop and performance. The Workshop 10am-noon Bring your didgeridoo (if you have one), a notebook and an open mind as we cover the subjects of: Technique   <ul> <li>Bring some idea of what you would like to learn and we will break down techniques into doable accomplishments during practice. </li> </ul> Practice Techniques <ul> <li>What would be some good habits while the player sits down to practice. This would probably cover connecting with the instrument in a way to get a deeper and richer experience while playing. </li> </ul> Composition <ul> <li>Building rhythms into phrases to make a cohesive song.</li> </ul> $20 for class alone, $45 for class and purchase of Didgitube (practice didge) that you can take home and practice with! (save $15) If you do not have a didgeridoo, no worries. We will have plenty on hand to borrow for the class.
