Help the Forests in Hartman Park

The City of Redmond and the Cascade Land Conservancy partner to sponsor a work party on Saturday, October 29 from 9 am to 12 noon at Hartman Park, 17300 NE 104 Street. All those who care about Redmond’s urban forests can help by volunteering to remove invasive plants and plant native trees and shrubs to re-establish a healthy forest and mitigate carbon in the atmosphere.

No experience is necessary and gloves, tools and other materials are available. It is important to dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. All ages are welcome, although all volunteers under 18 must either be accompanied by an adult or bring a signed waiver (available at www.greenredmond.org, on the Volunteer Schedule page).

This event is final Last Saturday of the Month program for the year from Green Redmond. All volunteers should look for Green Redmond Partnership event signs to sign-in and receive their tools and gloves.
