King County Council Vice Chair Jane Hague will join local youth at Marymoor Park on Saturday afternoon as they display nearly 3,000 American flags to mark each of the 2,977 victims who were killed in the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.
The event is part of the 9/11: Never Forget Project, which was started by the conservative Young America’s Foundation in 2003.
The flags will remain up until Monday.
