Orange Blossom Society and Sponge are teaming up to offer an open-to-the-public celebration of Mardi Gras on Saturday, March 12th, at the Orange Blossom Society. In the great spirit of Mardi Gras, this free event will include mask and necklace making, crafts, snacks, language classes and a parade.
Native-speaking teachers from Sponge will lead fun-filled Spanish and French classes. Orange Blossom teachers will help children adorn themselves with their own hand-made colorful masks and necklaces, and then lead a joyous parade around the gardens. This event is geared toward children ages 10 and younger and their families.
