The Marymoor Velodrome <a href="http://velodrome.org/mva/sites/default/files/docs/Jennie%20Reed%20P-Proof_3.pdf" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">will honor Olympic silver medalist Jennie Reed at a reception</a> on Friday, Sept. 7. Reed, who lives in Kirkland and coaches at the velodrome,  at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.  Doors to the reception open at 6 p.m. Reed will be present to meet fans, sign autographs and pose for photos. The entry fee is $5 (kids 12 and younger are free). All proceeds benefit the velodrome's youth cycling program. The velodrome is located within at 6046 West Lake Sammamish Parkway NE in Redmond.
