Redmond Library Hosts 'Then and Now' Photography Contest

Photographers are invited to upload current images that correspond with historical photographs.

The is hosting a "then and now" photography contest in collaboration with the and City of Redmond Centennial Committee to honor the city's 100th year.

The "then" images can be found on the library's Facebook page. Entrants can submit "now" photos for one of two categories: realistic and interpretive. 

Contest entries can be sent via email to thenandnow@kcls.org or submitted in person at the library. All photos must include the photographer's name, email address and phone number—along with a photo caption.

The contest ends Aug. 15. A panel of judges will select grand prize winners in two categories: youth and adult. The winners will receive $100.
