From the Redmond Police Department: Tuesday, Dec. 11 9:28 a.m., 16700 block of NE 89th St.: Redmond Police responded to a local residence in reference to a burglary that occurred. Forced entry was used. 2:05 p.m., 2200 block of 148th Ave. NE: Redmond Police responded to a theft at a department store. 5:23 p.m., 18500 block of NE 58th Court: A 58-year-old Virginia man was arrested on suspicion of simple assault and resisting arrest. 9:26 p.m., 13500 block of NE 75th St.: Redmond Police responded to a reported suspicious circumstance. No evidence of a crime was observed.
