The Derby Days summer festival will return to Redmond City Hall in early July, including parades, rides, food, live music and more.
REDMOND, WA — One of the Eastside's essential summer traditions returns to Redmond this year, bringing back plenty of favorites and adding a few new activities to the lineup. Derby Days will take place outside Redmond City Hall on July 8 and 9, featuring two days of parades, music, rides, local food and beer gardens.
City officials said this year's event will also include a new craft market, along with "elite bike races and kiddie kilo" events planned at the Jerry Baker Velodrome.
"I am excited for the return of Derby Days, our family-friendly festival that kicks off the summer," said Redmond Mayor Angela Birney. "This event celebrates our community coming together again, in the spirit of friendly competition with the longest-running community bicycle race in the United States. We are proud to continue this legacy in 2022."
