Viewfinder: Einstein Elementary's First Egg Drop
Thirty of 93 eggs survived the 60-foot fall from the top of a fire ladder.
held its first egg drop last week. PE Specialist Cheryl Plate and parent volunteer Christine Thein coordinated the event.
Students designed various contraptions ranging from intricate engineering designs to heavily duct-taped boxes to help raw eggs survive the 60-foot drop from the top of 16.
The drops were punctuated with the cheers from the students, and 30 out of 93 eggs stayed intact.
