Weekend Police Blotter: Outhouse Fire at Park Suspected as Arson

The following incidents were reported between 6 a.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday.

Friday, Oct. 12

6:47 p.m., 8800 block of 161st Ave. NE: Redmond Police arrested an adult male on suspicion of criminal trespass at a business.

Saturday, Oct. 13

12:34 a.m., 17000 block of Avondale Way: Redmond Police investigated an assault. A 42-year-old Redmond man was arrested.

7:19 a.m., 14700 block of NE 60th Court: Police investigated a report of threats.

2:53 p.m., 7900 block of 178th Place NE: Redmond Police responded to a report of a vehicle prowl at a local business.

7:49 p.m., 156th Avenue NE and NE 40th Street: Redmond Police responded to a bicycle theft.

10:38 p.m., 18200 block of NE 98th Place: Redmond Police responded to a report of subjects smoking marijuana.

Sunday, Oct. 14

1:32 a.m., 15000 block of NE 116th St.: Redmond Police responded to a reported fire at an outhouse at Sixty Acres Park. It was determined that the fire was an arson. There is no suspect information at this time.

7:57 a.m., 6200 block of 139th Ave. NE: Sometime during the night an unknown suspect entered an unlocked vehicle and stole a car stereo. The suspect also took the victim's new bicycle that was secured to a rail in front of his car.

11:11 a.m., NE 65th Street and E Lake Sammamish Parkway: Redmond Police investigated an auto theft near a local trail.

3:58 p.m., 18600 block of Redmond Way: Redmond Police responded to a vehicle prowl report at a local apartment complex.

9:40 p.m., NE 36th Street and W Lake Sammamish Parkway: Redmond Police responded to a report of a male walking in the roadway. The 30-year-old Kirkland man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and obstruction.

10:47 p.m., 15000 block of NE 84th St.: Redmond Police responded to a report of telephone harassment.
