ISSAQUAH, WA β Investigators are looking for witnesses after a serious crash in the Issaquah Highlands sent four people to the hospital on Halloween night. Eastside Fire & Rescue medics rushed to the scene shortly before 11:30 p.m., and a large emergency response stretched into the night.
In a news release Tuesday afternoon, Washington State Patrol said two vehicles β an Infinity G35 and Mercedes β were speeding south on Highlands Drive Northeast, approaching the Northeast Discovery Drive intersection, just before the crash. The Infinity ran a red light and hit a third vehicle that was turning left on a green arrow, then lost control and hit a light pole, troopers said.
According to WSP, a man and woman riding in the Infinity were not wearing seatbelts and suffered serious injuries after being ejected from the vehicle. The driver and a third passenger also required hospitalization, while the driver in the third vehicle was uninjured.
