Sammamish-area Nonprofits can Learn About Media Access at Tuesday Panel

Sammamish-area nonprofit community members can learn about media access and improving their group's exposureΒ on Tuesday atΒ City Hall.

The city is sponsoring a free panel discussion, which begins at 11 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. ItΒ will feature speakers from various mediaΒ organizations, including Sammamish Patch.

  • Debbie Berto of The Sammamish Review. She will talk about getting publicity and the news.
  • Kristin Heffley of Caffeinated Communications StudioΒ will discuss using Facebook to connect with others.
  • Barry Boone from earthbongoΒ will talk about a community page and how it relates to Sammamish.
  • Sammamish Patch will be there and the topic will be how to include your community event or announcement on the site.
  • Deb Sogge from the Sammamish Chamber of Commerce will talk about what the group does and how it can help nonprofit organizations.
