Chalk Art Festival Returns To Issaquah Tuesday
After a hiatus in 2020, Issaquah's Chalk Art Festival returns on Aug. 17, bringing some outdoor fun for the whole family.

ISSAQUAH, WA β Issaquah's annual Chalk Art Festival returns Tuesday, promising an afternoon of outdoor fun for all ages. Beginning at noon, visitors can find the festival back outside the Issaquah Community Center, and the first 300 revelers will get free ice cream. Everyone who comes down can also pick up free chalk and flex their artistic chops at the outdoor canvas space. Racine the Clown will be on-hand to wow onlookers with a bubble show between 12:30 p.m and 3:30 p.m.

Officials judging will be absent from this year's festivities, but the city will photograph and share the completed chalk creations on social media. Tuesday's event will by physically distanced and visitors are encouraged to wear their face coverings.
