City Of Sammamish: Applications Now Open For City Council Seat #6 Vacancy

Last night at the City Council Study Session, Councilmembers voted to approve the timeline and process to fill Sammamish City Council Seat #6.

This seat will be vacated by Councilmember Ken Gamblin, who resigned from his position effective January 17, 2022.

Council has 90 days (until April 17, 2022) to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the term. This is a temporary appointment that will expire upon certification of the November 2023 General Election.

Applicants must be a resident of the City of Sammamish for a minimum of one year and are eligible to vote.

All applications must be received by January 26, 2022 at 5pm.
