WHY SERVE?
Sammamishβs Boards and Commissions are designed to give residents and business owners a voice in their government and allow them to help with the decisions that shape the quality of life for our community. Participation on a board or commission is one of the most effective steps an individual can take in becoming an active voice in their government.
In addition, the skills, commitment, talent, knowledge, and enthusiasm of our community board and commission volunteers enhance those of our elected officials and help ensure that our local government is truly addressing the needs of the Sammamish community through the services, planning, and decision making provided by each board.
