βœ”οΈ Make your home look occupied by leaving a light on βœ”οΈ Keep your garage door closed and locked βœ”οΈ Consider installing a security camera and alarm systemβœ”οΈΒ Turn off geo-tagging on your cell phone camera if you sell anything online to avoid a criminal with a free geo-tag reader from coming to your home βœ”οΈ Don't allow daily deliveries of mail or newspapers build up while you are away -- arrange with the Post Office to hold your mail, or arrange for a friend or neighbor to take them regularly βœ”οΈ Don't share your vacation plans on social media βœ”οΈ Don’t leave valuables in your vehicles βœ”οΈ Make sure to lock your vehicle βœ”οΈ Don’t leave your vehicle idling unoccupied
