We encourage all residents to take steps to help prevent a crime:
βοΈ Make your home look occupied by leaving a light on βοΈ Keep your garage door closed and locked βοΈ Consider installing a security camera and alarm systemβοΈΒ Turn off geo-tagging on your cell phone camera if you sell anything online to avoid a criminal with a free geo-tag reader from coming to your home βοΈ Don't allow daily deliveries of mail or newspapers build up while you are away -- arrange with the Post Office to hold your mail, or arrange for a friend or neighbor to take them regularly βοΈ Don't share your vacation plans on social media βοΈ Donβt leave valuables in your vehicles βοΈ Make sure to lock your vehicle βοΈ Donβt leave your vehicle idling unoccupied
