Republic Services' rates will increase January 1, 2022. The average increase per Sammamish household is $1.87 - $3.71 per month.

From Republic Services: “Consumer Price Indexes reflect inflation increases due to global supply chain disruptions, labor shortages, and the added costs of keeping employees and communities safe during the ongoing global pandemic.”

The City of Sammamish contracts with Republic Services for garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection for single-family residences, multifamily complexes, and commercial customers located within the City service area.
