City Of Sammamish: Traffic Advisory: Sahalee Way Has Reopened In Both Directions

Update: Monday, January 3 at 6:55 p.m.

Sahalee Way has re-opened in both directions. The road was closed from 202 to NE 37th due to icy conditions and stuck vehicles. Public Works has cleared the road. The road is still icy so please stay off the roads if you can.

Sahalee Way is closed from 202 to NE 37th Way due to a snow event this evening which led to several vehicles getting stuck including two Metro Transit buses. Please avoid the area. Public Works crews are actively working to clear the road. Thank you for your patience.

Important Message from Metro Transit

Metro Transit routes 216 and 269, and Sound Transit Route 554 are currently rerouted at 228th Av NE & NE 8th St, due to icy road conditions.

Until further notice, in both directions, use the regularly posted stops on 228th Av NE south of NE 8th St or on 188th Av NE at Redmond Fall City Rd.
