The application period closed on Wednesday, January 26. The following applicants are in consideration for Sammamish City Council Seat #6Β vacated by Councilmember Ken Gamblin, who resigned from his position effective January 17, 2022.

Council has 90 days (until April 17, 2022) to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the term. This is a temporary appointment that will expire upon certification of the November 2023 General Election.

Councilmembers voted on January 11 to approve the timeline and process to fill Sammamish City Council Seat #6.

This seat isΒ vacated by Councilmember Ken Gamblin, who resigned from his position effective January 17, 2022.

Council has 90 days (until April 17, 2022) to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the term. This is a temporary appointment that will expire upon certification of the November 2023 General Election.

Applicants must be a resident of the City of Sammamish for a minimum of one year and are eligible to vote.

All applications must be received by January 26, 2022 at 5:00 p.m.
