Roads Reopen After Downed High Voltage Line Prompts Closures
A handful of streets were closed Friday afternoon after a high voltage power line fell in the Klahanie area.

SAMMAMISH, WA β More than a half dozen roads had closures in place Friday afternoon as crews with the Bonneville Power Administration worked to remove a downed high voltage power line in the Klahanie area.
In an update shared just before 4:30 p.m., BPA officials said crews were doing planned maintenance to replace a conductor along a de-energized transmission corridor between Issaquah and Sammamish when a pully failed, leading to the old conductor falling to the ground. Hours later, crews were still working to remove the fallen transmission line and reopen the roads.
The city announced all closures were lifted shortly before 5:30 p.m.
