East Lake Sammamish Parkway Closure Begins Monday
The road will be closed at Ebright Creek from morning to night for at least three weeks as work continues to improve the fish habitat.

SAMMAMISH, WA β A lengthy closure begins Monday on East Lake Sammamish Parkway as construction work gets underway on a restoration project to improve fish passage and habitat conditions along Ebright Creek.
The closure will last for at least three weeks, with working hours scheduled daily between 7 a.m and 10 p.m. The extended closure will allow construction crews will remove old culvert pipes and replace them with a "fully passable box culvert" to support fish passage, including for Kokanee salmon. Crews will also complete new water and sewage systems.
While the direct closure area is small, through access will be strictly limited to residents. Other travelers will need to find alternate routes or follow the signed detour route along 212th Avenue Southeast. Cyclists and pedestrians can get around the closure on the East Lake Sammamish Regional Trail.
