Eastlake Dance Team Headed to State
The team is inviting the community to come and see them perform their winning routines on March 20, before they head to the state competition.
The dance team is headed to state after winning the District Two title on Saturday, March 10, at Bothell High School.
They took the title in all three categories that they competed in: dance, pom and kick. This event qualified them for the State 4A Dance/Drill Championship on March 23 in Yakima, WA. Last year, the team took second in state in Dance, and won the 4A championship in Pom.
The community is invited to Eastlake Tuesday, March 20, at 7 p.m. for a special preview performance of the dance team's state routines.
The dance team will be performing all three of their routines as a "practice" for their state performance. The team will also hand out awards to some of the students and will offer light refreshments. The event will take place in the upper gym.
