Eastside Fire Onscene at I-90 Accident

Firefighters extricated a victim of an I-90 accident that left a car in the Issaquah Creekjust East of Issaquah.

At about 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, Eastside Firefighters extricated a patient from a complicated car accident on Interstate 90 just East of Issaquah.

Initial reports onscene noted a vehicle that had gone off the freeway and rolled over down an embankment upside down into the Issaquah Creek, according to Eastside Firefighters via Facebook.

Firefighters set up a rope system to get the injured patient back up the embankment. Units responding to the call were Engine 71, 72, Ladder 73, Aid 81, Medic 14 and Battalion 71.

At about 8 p.m., Eastside firefighters reported they hadΒ sucessfully extricated the patient.
