ISSAQUAH, WA β€” Neighbors will have a chance to learn more about Eastside Fire & Rescue and weigh in on its strategic plans for the future at six upcoming open houses scheduled through the end of the month.

The first community open house will get underway at Issaquah's Fire Station 73 on Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. Others are scheduled in the coming weeks in Sammamish, North Bend, Carnation and Woodinville.

For residents who cannot attend, or wish to participate further, Eastside Fire & Rescue is also taking feedback via an online survey. The agency hopes to identify some of the services that community members feel are most important and learn more about what residents think is working and what can be improved.
