Join Sammamish Walks once a month, April through October for a guided walk along the forested trails of the Sammamish plateau.
All walks start at 10 a.m. and last for 1.5 to 2 hours.Β
Walks are led by volunteers β wildlife experts, naturalists, photographers, parks commissioners and others β all of them knowledgeable and enthusiastic about our regional parks and trails.Β

Saturday, June 18.Β Sign Up -Β Beaver Lake Preserve.

ThisΒ 1200-acre King County park lies between the Issaquah Highlands and I-90 andΒ provides a link between the new trails of DuthieΒ Hill Park andΒ the trails leading to Preston and beyond.

Several trails lace through this 116-acre habitat and take you past a largeΒ beaver dam, across a wooden bridge and onto a wetland viewing platform.
