Printmaking class description:
Explore and discover the fun of simple printmaking without a press.
In this 7-week class we'll create 4 different kinds of prints...
- Linoleum block printing with ink and safe-t-kut soft blocks
- Monoprints painted onto a surface (only one of a kind).
- Collographs constructed out of shapes and objects glued to a surface and then inked.
- Incised foam prints with ink.
We will make prints to mount, prints as greeting cards, and prints to frame.
NO ART EXPERIENCE NECESSARY.
Anyone without any art making experience will discover the possibilities in this type of printmaking. And experienced artists will get a chance to enjoy the materials and skills they love.
