Firefighters Rescue Horse Near Snoqualmie Ridge
Firefighters said Stevie fell through a bridge Monday afternoon while crossing over a stream in the Snoqualmie Ridge area.
SNOQUALMIE, WA — Eastside fire crews successfully rescued a horse from a wooded area near Snoqualmie Ridge over Labor Day. Eastside Fire & Rescue, Snoqualmie Fire and a veterinarian joined forces for the horse rescue early Monday afternoon.
Eastside fire officials said the horse, Stevie, fell through a bridge while crossing over a stream in the area. Fortunately, his rider was uninjured, but crews spent more than two hours to safely pull the animal to safety.
