Ready for some more fun at Pine Lake Park? The Seattle Shakespeare company will present this tale, for free. Jealousy and suspicion tear at the heart of King Leontes, a man who seems to have everything, but what will he do at the end? The event is free; just click the link above for all the details.

John L. Scott, which has recently remodeled its Sammamish location, is inviting families out to enjoy bouncy castles, barbecue, and a family safety day.Β 

Idylwood Beach Park, on the opposite shore of Lake Sammamish, is the setting for this free outdoor movie series sponsored by the Redmond Youth Partnership Advisory Committee for a free movie. Saturday's show is The Help, rated PG-13.

The "dog days" of summer get a head start at Juanita Beach this weekend, so if you have a well-behaved pooch 6 months old or older, head over for games, contests, demos, and live music and entertainment. Even if you don't have a dog, the dressed up pups in the dog walk are a hoot to watch.

Bellevue Arts Weekend

If you plan a trip west to Bellevue, don't miss this annual arts fair that will take over for the weekend with tons of artists and exhibitors as the Bellevue Arts Museum ARTSfair, the 6th Street Fair and the Bellevue Festival of Arts -- converge July 27-29 to bring arts, crafts and music and 300,000 visitors to downtown Bellevue.
