- Youth Board Accepting Applications:Β Sammamish Youth Board applications are available now! Ever feel like thereβs nothing to do here in Sammamish? Feel like your ideas are not being heard? Well, here is your chance to make a difference. The Sammamish Youth Board is currently seeking teens that have the drive to make change in Sammamish. Complete the application below and submit toΒ lhandlos@ci.sammamish.wa.usΒ by May 7 to be considered.
- The city of Sammamish, as part of the North East and South King County Human Services consortium has begun accepting applications for 2013/2014 grant funding cycle. Any non-profit, 501(C)3 human services provider is invited to submit an application. Typically the city is looking for groups that provide human services directly to residents of Sammamish, provide services that are not being provided by another group and that shows their ability to collaborate with other agencies to leverage any grant funds awarded to the highest advantage.Β If you would like to apply, please go this websiteΒ share1app.culturegrants.org/. - The Tuesday, April 10, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Agenda topics includeΒ a 228th Operational Analysis, Β Stormwater Mitigation/Improvements, and the PRO Plan/Review and Discussion.
- Sammamish is holding a FREE Computer Recyling Event Saturday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.Β Accepted for free: All desktop computers and laptops, working or not. Monitors (LCD and CRTs) working or not; Cell Phones, iPods, keyboards, mice, cables, speakers printers, scanners copiers and TVβs. A tax deductible receipt is provided for all donations. All hard drive data is securely destroyed.Β Reusable computers will be refurbished and provided to communities in need.Β Not accepted: DVD players, old software, VCRβs, CDs, microwaves, stereo equipment or appliances, Styrofoam, cardboard and other packing materials.

- TheΒ is Monday, April 9, at 7 p.m. in the Eagle Room at City Hall.
- TheΒ Β meets Tuesday, April 10 at 7 p.m. in the Coho Room at City Hall.
- The Council Land & Shore Committee meets regularly on the second Tuesday of each month.Β Meetings begin at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall South.Β
- The River & Streams Board meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month, starting at 7 p.m., in the Pickering Room of City Hall NW.
- Meet Issaquah Mayor Ava FrisingerΒ at theΒ , from 9-10 a.m. Saturday, April 14.Β Β An opportunity toΒ join the Mayor for (no-host) coffee/breakfast to discuss items/topics of concern or interest.Β
