All ages welcome. No registration required, come early for seats.

Get to know the work of Dr. Seuss with music, theater, rhyme and movement. This talented duo uses props, hoola-hoops and lively songs to honor the American literary icon who gave us the Whos, The Cat in the Hat and Horton the Elephant.Β 

Special refreshments of Dr Seuss cookies provided by Hoffman's Bakery and Friends of the Sammamish Library.

Gilman Town HallΒ Museum

When and Where: Gilman Town Hall Museum, 165 SE Andrews St, Issaquah, WA, Thursdays through Saturdays, 11a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cost:Β $2 for adults, $1 for children, IHS members visit for free, $10 family pass gives all-day access to both the Gilman Town Hall and the Issaquah Depot, and includes copies of activity guides and exhibit catalogs.

The permanent exhibit at theΒ Gilman Town HallΒ tells the story of Issaquah's past through hundreds of photographs and artifacts (many never before on display) and a variety of interactive elements. Come see one of Issaquah's original water pipes, a rare Native American fur trade knife, and graffiti hidden for 75 years inside the walls of the fish hatchery. Set off an imaginary charge with an authentic dynamite blaster, ring a logging camp bell, listen to the music of the Squak Valley Hot Shots -- and much more!

The public is invited to attend the free SAMMI Awards ceremony.

The doors open at 5:30 p.m., andΒ Girl Scout Troop 41595 has 6 girls who are doing a Silver Award Project to highlight past recipients at the Ceremony Reception. There will be music and performances by local groups during the ceremony. Be sure to stop by and say "Hi" to Sammamish Patch at the ceremony as well!

Looking for an excuse to get outside? Join the City of Sammamish for a volunteer work party to plant and restore the wetland buffer near the upper parking lot. You never know, you may find a four leaf clover or a charming leprechaun. If you don't have the luck of the Irish on your side, don't worry, we'll still have a blast getting our hands dirty and working to enhance the eco-system at Preserve.

Trail and Plant Stewards will be leading this event.

Volunteers will need to wear heavy shoes (it can be muddy in this location), bring work gloves and dress for the weather. Event will happen rain or shine.

Doc McStuffins Screening Party and Bounce

When and Where: Tuesday, March 20 at KidzBounce,Β 8178 304th Avenue Southeast, Issaquah, from 9:30-11:30 a.m.

Cost:Β $7 per child, parents and children under 2 (with sibling) are free

The Eastlake Dance Team is headed to state March 23. In preparation, they'veΒ invited the community to a special preview performance at Eastlake High School, March 20 at 7pm.

The dance team will be performing all three of its routines as a "practice" for their state performance. The evening will include awards for the kids, thank yous to the parents, possible Junior Dance Team performances, and light refreshments.

It'll take place in the upper gym.
