Grand Ridge Plaza Summer Fun in Issaquah Guide

Summer's here and so are fun activities and sweet deals in Issaquah Highlands

It’s time to shake off those β€œJuneuary” polar fleece blues! School’s out, patios are open and there’s an abundance of sunshine and blue skies. To make the most of your summer, Grand Ridge Plaza has built a list of fun experiences to enjoy close to home in Issaquah Highlands.

1. See a movie for $1 at Regal Cinemas Issaquah Highlands.
Every Wednesday and Thursday morning at 10 am, Regal is showing two family-friendly movies as part of its Summer Movie Express series. Admission is only $1. Click here for the lineup.
2. Savor the sounds of flamenco at Agave Cocina & Tequilas.
Live Music Mondays returns to the Agave patio with special guests New Age Flamenco. Grab a seat on the patio; their set begins at 6 pm every Monday.
3. Dine with your pups on the Big Fish Grill patio.
Enjoy Paws on the Patio with your pups at Big Fish Grill Issaquah on select Sundays this summer. Dogs will enjoy free pet treats from Civilized Nature Pet Supplies while humans relax and indulge in great seafood, burgers, salads and more. Click here for event dates.
4. Take a walk back in time on the Grand Ridge Mine hike.
On Issaquah History Museum’s Grand Ridge Mine Hike, you’ll explore the daily commute of miners who worked in Issaquah’s longest-lasting coal mining operation. Participants will hike to the mine site through a historically significant section of the nearby 1,300-acre Grand Ridge Park. Tours are 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, July 7 and Saturday, July 28. 5. Improve your right hook: work out for free at 9Round.

6. Enjoy Sunday dinner at The RAM, where kids meals are $1.
It’s too hot to cook… why not go out for dinner? Kids eat for just $1 all day at The RAM Restaurant & Brewery when an adult entrΓ©e is ordered at your table.
7. Lose yourself in a good book.
The King County Library2Go! Bookmobile will visit the community at Blakely Hall in Issaquah Highlands from 3:30 to 4:30 pm on Tuesday, July 17 and Tuesday, August 14. Library2Go! offers fiction and graphic novels for kids, plus fiction for adults. And, books from any KCLS library may be returned to the Library2Go! van.
8. Cool down with a frosty shake at MOD Pizza, The Habit Burger Grill or Ben & Jerry’s.
Choosing your flavor is the hardest part.
9. Take a stroll and listen to a jam session with the Rovin’ Fiddlers & Musicians.
Join in the fun at Issaquah Highlands Fire Station 73β€”located less than a block from Grand Ridge Plazaβ€”with the Rovin’ Fiddlers & Musicians. The group meets every second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 7 to 9 pm and plays a variety of genres, including traditional old-time and Irish.
10. Taste the best of the Northwest at Sip at the wine bar & restaurant.
Spice up your Wednesdays with complimentary wine tastings from 6 to 9 pm at Sip at the wine bar. Each week features a new Northwest winery that’s sure to become a favorite.
