Highlands Man Fired Shots At Car Prowlers: Issaquah Police
Issaquah Police said a man in the Highlands confronted and shot at suspected car prowlers early Thursday morning.
ISSAQUAH, WA β A man shooting at suspected car prowlers prompted a large emergency response in the Issaquah Highlands Thursday morning, according to police. The Issaquah Police Department said initial reports of gunshots came in around 6:15 a.m. from the 1700 block of Larch Ave. NE.
In social media posts Thursday morning, the department said no one appeared to be injured, but bullets damaged a nearby home. Officers recovered several shell casings in the area.
This occurred in the 1700 block of Larch Avenue NE. Shots caused damage to a residence, officers recovered shell casings. No suspect information at this time.

Later in the afternoon, Issaquah police said they learned about the confrontation and were investigating whether the car prowling suspects also fired shots. Anyone with information that might help the investigation is encouraged to contact the department's tip line at 425-837-3210.
