How Much Will It Snow In Sammamish-Issaquah? Here's The Forecast
Forecasters are now expecting significant lowland snowfall in Puget Sound over the next three days. Here's where and when it will arrive.

SAMMAMISH, WA β A new chill is in the air, and snowy weather is barreling fast toward Puget Sound. The first flakes fell Thursday morning, with some accumulation along the Olympic Peninsula and an early dusting for towns south of Olympia. Forecasters expect the storm to move northward into Thursday evening, propelled by frigid winds and bringing 1 or 2 inches of snow to Pierce County overnight.
Easterly wind will be picking up today as well. This could mean that it may take some time in order for the air to saturate enough to allow for snowfall to reach the ground. #wawx

The first round of snow should have limited impacts for King County and other points north, with under an inch forecast for Seattle and Everett. But snow fans should not lose faith: the main event premieres Friday.
Most communities wake up to morning lows in the teens, and afternoon highs are unlikely to escape the 30s. East winds will add even more to the chill. The unusually cold air will set the table for significant snow.
