Illegal Marijuana Grow Detected in Foreclosed Inglewood Hill Home β Sammamish Police Blotter
The following information from May 22-26 was supplied by the Sammamish Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Sammamish Police said they suspect an illegal marijuana grow operation was being run out of a foreclosed house after they investigated early-morning noise complaints on May 24 from nearby neighbors.

The home was previously occupied by renters who recently moved. Police contacted a 53-year-old Roy man on the property who claimed he was there to board up some of the entrances to the home on the request of the homeowner.
Police noted that the man's gray Toyota Camry appreared to be in "complete disarray" and that the man was living out of his car, but had no legal basis to detain him.
Police later noted a number of dead marijuana planting boxes inside the residence with poorly-constructed air vents in the basement, but could not definitively link the man to the plants.
