Issaquah Man Dies in Fall at Snoqualmie Pass's Lake Kachess

The Yakima Herald reports that Glenn Williams, a 51-year-old Issaquah resident, died after falling 40-50 feet northeast of Snoqualmie Pass on Saturday, Aug. 4.

An Issaquah man, Glenn Williams, had a fatal accident just northeast of Snoqualmie Pass yesterday, Aug. 4, falling 40-50 feet into the shallow waters of Lake Kachess, the Yakima Herald reported.

Apparently, Williams had stopped there with his wife and daughter to admire the view when he fell off a cliff overlooking the lake. A passing boat brought Williams to shore, where he was later pronounced dead, the Herald reported.

The cause of death has not been determined, but the Herald reports that the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office is investigating the possibility that alcohol could have been a factor.
