It's Game Over for Sammamish GameStop
The store is vacated and employees at another local GameStop confirmed it's closed permanently.
Bad news for gamers--GameStop in Sammamish is no more.
Representatives for GameStop and the Saffron Center couldn't be reached for comment, but employees at the Issaquah confirmed that the store, located at 22820 NE 8Th St, is permanently closed. There are no indications that a new location will be opened in Sammamish.
GameStop's operates 6,627 company-operated stores in 17 countries worldwide and online at www.GameStop.com. The company began selling Android tablets at a number of its US stores last week, and today, it announced the launch of the addition of PlayStation®Network downloadable content (DLC) from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) to its European and Australian stores. It offers a large array of downloadable PC games at its website.
