'Keep Issaquah Beautiful Day' Is Saturday: Here's How To Help Out

Neighbors are invited down to downtown Issaquah this weekend to help pick up trash, plant flowers and spruce up vegetation.

ISSAQUAH, WA β€” Issaquah neighbors have a chance this Earth Day weekend to help beautify the city as part of the annual "Keep Issaquah Beautiful Day," organized by several regional partners.

Volunteers are asked to roll their sleeves up for a couple of hours Saturday morning after meeting at the Historic Shell Station, checking in and grabbing some supplies. Teams will work to remove trash, maintain vegetation and plant new flowers, and organizers say there is a job for people of all ages and abilities.

After the work is done, pizza and refreshments will be provided between noon and 2 p.m. Residents can sign up to participate, and several slots were still available as of Friday afternoon.
