ORCA Transit Cards Now Available at QFC, Safeway Stores

Transit riders now have another option for purchasing or reloading an ORCA card.

Transportation officials announced Thursday that the cards—which riders can pre-load with value for use on King County Metro, Sound Transit and Washington State Ferries—are now available for purchase at more than 120 retail stores throughout the Puget Sound region.

Riders can also reload their ORCA cards at participating stores. Here is a list of participating locations in Sammamish and Issaquah:

• Safeway: 630 228th Ave. NE, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily
• QFC: 1540 Gilman Boulevard, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily
• QFC: 2902 228th Ave. SE, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily
• QFC: 4570 Klahanie Drive SE, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily
