Pine Lake Middle School Assistant Principal Tabbed for Principal Job

Issaquah Schools Superintendent Dr. Steve Rasmussen announced today that Michelle Caponigro, who has served as assistant principal at Pine Lake Middle School for the past seven years, will replace Principal Roy Adler,

Rasmussen told parents in an email sent May 22:

Through the feedback I received in surveys and conversations, it became clear that parents and staff want a principal leader who is compassionate and personable and able to seamlessly continue the culture of excellent student achievement, collaboration, professional development, and instructional leadership that has always been a hallmark of Pine Lake Middle School. We have found that leader in Michelle Caponigro.

 
Over the next few weeks, Caponigro will work with the superintendent and other administrators to find a replacement to fill her assistant principal position.
