Robber Hits Issaquah Wells Fargo Bank on Gilman Boulevard

Issaquah police and the FBI are searching for a man who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank branch on Gilman Boulevard Saturday afternoon, presenting a note indicating he had a gun and demanding money.
The suspect fled westbound on foot with an undetermined amount of money after robbing the bank at about 4 p.m. Officers searched the area but could not find him.

The man did not produce a weapon, said Issaquah Police Sgt. Bob Porter, but presented a note indicating he had one.
βWe have not apprehended him yet,β Porter said. βAny witnesses who might have seen anything we hope will give us a call.β

The suspect is described as a black man in his 20βs, about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds. He was wearing glasses, a black jacket and black pants.
The FBI and Issaquah Police Department are investigating the robbery. The bank is at 1190 NW Gilman Blvd. Β Anyone with potential information can reach Issaquah police at 425-837-3200.
