Sammamish-Issaquah Weather: Chilly Mornings And Sunny Days Ahead
Meteorologists predict the sunshine will continue through the workweek and perhaps even further.
SAMMAMISH, WA β If you liked the weather Tuesday you're in luck, because there's a lot more on tap for the rest of the week.
Forecasters with the National Weather Service say the current dry weather pattern will be hanging around for the foreseeable future, and possibly even into next week. In this case, dry weather means sunny to mostly sunny skies for western Washington, with highs in the mid-to-upper 40s, just like we saw on Tuesday. Overnight temperatures, meanwhile, will remain in the upper 30s.
Morning clouds will give way to plenty of this afternoon. Highs in the mid-40s. Not my preferred weather for the final month of the year, but sun fans can smile & say, βThis is MY December.β

It's not a perfect forecast, however. Meteorologists say to expect chilly early mornings the next few days, especially in wind-sheltered locations protected from the offshore flow. Wednesday morning residents near the Cascades can also expect east winds with gusts of up to 35 miles per hour.

The offshore flow may also push some breezy weather onto the coast late Wednesday and early Thursday, but the winds should clear up before it moves inland.
Some areas saw early morning fog in the South Sound Tuesday. Patchy fog may return early Wednesday, but otherwise forecasters predict a crisp morning with sunny skies for the rest of the day, followed by partly sunny skies Thursday, then mostly sunny skies through the weekend.
