Sammamish-Issaquah Weather Forecast: Breezy, Rainy Weekend Ahead
While the mountains will almost certainly see snowfall over the next few days, there is also a chance for snowfall in the foothills.

ISSAQUAH, WA β An incoming weather system is heading to western Washington, and is forecasted to bring much stormier weather, at least for the next week.
The National Weather Service updated their forecast Friday, saying they expect the system to bring breezy winds, rain, and even the possibility of snow in some of the foothills and valleys.

The good news: the weekend will not be a total bust. Meteorologists say the weather system won't be arriving until late Saturday night and into early Sunday for most. But when it does, all bets are off and it will be bringing rain and wind to the lowlands, and snow in the mountains.

Some places, like Mount Baker and Snoqualmie Pass, could see up to a foot of snow, and forecasters are advising everyone to avoid the passes if possible, because conditions could become hazardous fairly quickly.
While it likely won't stick around, the National Weather Service also predicts there's a chance for snow in the Cascade Foothills, around Hood Canal, and north of Everett.

By Monday the winds should be gone, but forecasters say to expect scattered showers accompanied by high surf along the coast. Then Tuesday, another system will be on the way in, bringing a second round of lowland rain and snow in the upper elevations, which could last through Thursday.
