Sammamish to Light Up the Holiday Wednesday, Nov. 28

Start the evening with Sammamish's holiday lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 28, and continue the evening with Charlie "The Noiseguy" Williams in a holiday adventure at the Sammamish Library.

Ever wonder what a giant, 38,000-lb recycle truck looks like decorated for the holidays? Come find out!

Join the city of Sammamish for its annual holiday lighting event, which will include performances by local choral groups, cookie decorating for the kids, a 38,000-pound decorated recycling truck, and festive refreshments and hot beverages.

Climb aboard the truck from Republic Services (formerly Allied Waste) for a photo, meet a driver and get holiday recycling, gift wrapping and decorating tips to make your holiday green all season long!
