The SAMMI foundation also unveiled its new logo and delivered on its promise of an entertaining evening, featuring music by the Sammamish Symphony Quartet during the reception before the ceremony and preformances by cheerleaders from Eastlake and Skyline high schools, the Vocal Jazz Ensemble from Skyline, and the Eastlake Dance Team.

Hundreds of people turned out for the event, which took the volunteer help of dozens to put on.
