SAMMI Announces Founder's Award Recipient
Carol Stamper has been named the SAMMI Awards Foundation Founder's Award Recipient for 2012

The SAMMI Awards Foundation Board of Directors announced today that Carol Stamper will receive the Founderβs Award at the 2012 SAMMI Awards Foundation Event on March 16, 2012 at 7 p.m. The Founderβs Award recipient is chosen by the Board of Directors as someone who epitomizes the term βbeing of service.βΒ
βThis award, established in 2009 is an opportunity for the SAMMI Awards Foundation to recognize an individual who has served and inspired the community for an extended period of time,β explained Executive Director Kristina Williams, βThe Board of Directors reviews all nominees for the year and determines if there is someone worthy of this recognition.βΒ
Carol Stamper has served the community, been a driver and an inspiration to those around her for more than a decade. Her commitment to our community is reflected in the 500+ girl scouts who participate at Day Camp each year at Beaver Lake Park, or the children who now attend Creekside Elementary.Β Carol fully commits to any project she takes on and positively impacts those around her.

The Award has previously been given twice before.
The SAMMI Awards Foundation Celebration Event will take place Friday, March 16, at 7 p.m. (Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with a reception) at Eastridge Church,Β 24205 SE Issaquah Fall City Rd,Β Issaquah.Β The event is free and open to the public.
