Search Teams Find Truck In Snoqualmie River After Sunday Crash
Dive teams will return to the river on Tuesday to recover the bodies of a mother and son after a crash early Sunday morning.
FALL CITY, WA — King County search teams found a vehicle in the Snoqualmie River on Monday afternoon, following a nearly two-day effort to locate a mother and son missing since a crash early Sunday morning.
Members of Eastside Fire & Rescue, King County Marine Rescue and Washington State Patrol have searched for two missing occupants of a pickup truck after it rolled into the river around 2 a.m. Sunday.

According to The Seattle Times, search teams located an upside-down pickup truck beneath roughly 15 feet of water on Monday afternoon, several dozen yards from where the crash was reported, near Highway 202 and Southeast Fish Hatchery Road.

The newspaper reported that a Carnation man lost control while attempting a left turn and rolled into the river. He was able to get to safety with an infant girl, but the vehicle's other two occupants did not escape.
Search teams plan to return to the river on Tuesday to recover the bodies. Neither of the presumed victims has been formally identified.
