Winter Clothing Drive Underway In Sammamish Through Dec. 24

SAMMAMISH, WA — The city of Sammamish and the YMCA of Greater Seattle have teamed up for a winter clothing drive, with donations needed between now and Christmas.

Sammamish Winter Clothing Drive

• Dates: Nov. 15 - Dec. 24, 2021
• Location: 831 228th Ave. SE, Sammamish

Neighbors are invited to stop by the Sammamish Community YMCA and bring any of the following items:

• Winter coats.
• Warm gloves (synthetic materials preferred).
• New winter hats.
• Warm socks (synthetic materials preferred).
• New thermals/long underwear (synthetic materials preferred).
• New underwear.

Adult and teen sizes are preferred, but organizers said all sizes will be accepted and put to good use. The donations will benefit the Friends of Youth and the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank.
