WSP Investigates 2 Weekend Drive-By Shootings

Troopers said two vehicles were hit by gunfire in separate incidents over the weekend in King County, and detectives are looking for tips.

KING COUNTY, WA β€” Washington State Patrol is looking for witnesses in a pair of recent drive-by shootings reported near North Bend and Burien.

In the first incident, troopers said a semi-truck was hit by gunfire while headed westbound on Interstate 90, near North Bend, on Friday. The truck driver told investigators he saw a passenger in a white vehicle handling a shotgun. Fortunately, the man was uninjured, but WSP said the gunfire damaged the exterior and interior of the truck.
